“I love seeing the power of a good proposal, and the difference it makes during the evaluation process.”

Jo is a chartered procurement professional, with over 13 years of experience in New Zealand government procurement.
Jo has run processes, evaluated proposals, and chaired evaluation panels – she knows what makes a procurement process tick.
Over the course of her career, Jo has worked across IT, professional services, corporate and social services procurement, as well as leading cross-government groups and chairing the Wellington branch of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
Jo was awarded her FCIPS (Fellowship) in 2018 as recognition for her professional and voluntary work, and her promotion of procurement as a profession. She also wrote textbooks for the 2019 CIPS syllabus refresh.
Jo is now turning her expertise to the bid management side of the process, providing a quality assurance lens to proposals and reviewing bids with the experienced eyes of an evaluator.
